New polling suggests that aggressive investigations into the Biden family business dealings and the imploding of Hunter Biden’s plea deal are seeping into the American psyche: more believe the president’s son is a criminal than ever before.

Fifty percent of voters who responded to a Fox News poll from August 11-14 said they felt the first son had engaged in illegal activity related to his foreign business dealings, up from 44 percent in April 2023 and 37 percent in February 2023.

Democrats are now twice as likely to believe Hunter did something wrong as they were before - 19 percent believe it now, where only 9 percent did in February. Suspicions of unlawful activity are up 20 percent with Independents, 30 percent in February to 50 percent now, and 11 percent with Republicans, from 69 to 80 percent.

And as House Oversight Republicans try to tie Joe to his son’s business dealings, 38 percent of Americans now believe the president did something UNLAWFUL...

Meanwhile, Special counsel David Weiss blasted Hunter Biden’s defense team in a court filing on Tuesday, saying his attorneys were wrong to say the government had ‘reneged’ on a plea deal.

Tensions between the two sets of lawyers escalated further this week with bad-tempered court filings. And it comes after Delaware prosecutor Weiss was elevated to the role of special counsel, complete with extra powers..........the better to save Hunter and Joe from disaster.
