In 2021 48,183 Americans died by gun, 54% of all gun-related deaths in the U.S. were suicides (26,328), while 43% were murders (20,958).

Drug deaths nationwide hit a new record in 2022. 109,680 people died as the fentanyl crisis continued to deepen, according to preliminary data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

So Fentanyl kill twice as many as guns or four times as many when removing those committing suicide by gun.
