<< In a statement issued following Ramirez’s arrest, Glendale Police Chief Manuel Cid said crimes like these are not acceptable in his city. >>

I’m sure the smirker and her cohorts are shaking in their YSL boots. Unless the majority of people in CA start electing people who are not actively trying to destroy their state and the US at large, get ready for a lot more thefts and smirking.

There is some mathematical formula here....as you reach a no-profit point with a 100-store chain in California....pressure intensifies to raise profit margins, and close a couple of shops.

A year into this formula...you get informed by insurance companies that they won’t insure certain regions.....so you close more stores.

At the five-year point, all of the 100-store operations are shut down.

The bigger issue for the state is that no tax revenue is generated with closed stores. State tax ‘chief’ should be screaming about the trend. Property taxes would be going the same way.

The end of this mess...there has to be some kind of weird recession where stores don’t operate, and you can’t spend money because there’s no place to spend it.

“crimes like these are not acceptable in his city.”

The nerve of these folks ... where did they think they were? Walmart ... or the dollar store.
We can't have this sort of thing where the “nice” people shop.
Get thee back to Freds. Ye vandals... we'll have none of that here.
