Donald Barr (August 8, 1921 – February 5, 2004) was an American educator, writer, and Office of Strategic Services (OSS) officer. He was an administrator at Columbia University before serving as headmaster at the Dalton School in New York City and the Hackley School in Tarrytown, New York.[1]
His sons are former United States Attorney General William Barr and physicist Stephen Barr.
He was headmaster of the Dalton School from 1964 to 1974.[9] During his time as Dalton’s headmaster, Barr is alleged to have had a role in hiring future financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as a math teacher despite the fact that Epstein (who graduated from high school at the age of 16 and secured a full scholarship to Cooper Union) had failed to complete his degree and was only 21 years old at the time.[10][11]
In 1973, Barr published Space Relations, a science fiction novel about a planet ruled by oligarchs who engage in child sex slavery. It has been noted that the plot of the novel anticipates the crimes of Epstein and his convicted and prosecuted accomplice(the list of politicians and celebrities involved in sex crimes remains hidden), Ghislaine Maxwell.[12]

His great grandparents were from Ukraine. His great grandfather died in Manhattan in 1940. (Born 1872)
His grandfather was born in England in 1892, and died in Manhattan.

I can't argue against this. I was a fan, conceptually, when I was younger and thought that these were agencies that worked to 'protect' America. I have long since ceased to think this.
When you give significant power to people like Strzok, who have deep disdain for the citizenry (who they see as low life Walmart shoppers), you have set up a parallel government of people who are never voted for / vetted by the public - yet have the power to alter the course of the lives of millions. That doesn't fly in a free nation.

I’m guessing lots of CIA folks went to Yale as ‘legacies’... and not as ‘best and brightest’.

People so out of touch most papers now only appeal to 15% of city residents. Death of a profession. I suspect the CIA might carry the values of 15% of Americans - if we’re lucky. And I suspect, like the old KGB - that they feel the country would be run better with their great insights.
