Light beer is glorified seltzer. Make mine a Guinness.
Agreed, who wants beer favored club soda?
I would much rather have something from Voodoo ranger, Toppling Goliath, Odd13, 3Floyds or Founders anyday.
I prefer to taste the hops, not the corn or rice in my beer and i find I’m partial to cascade, centennial, galaxy, citra hops but my favorite is mosaic.

Yeah, a smarmy pair of idiots that's could almost certainly be a euphemism for, well, you know. NTTAWWT.
Give them credit for this one though no matter where it really came from; one is gonna try to commit it to memory for future plagiarism:
"(in the same way you might find liberals desperately trying to find bidders for their Ruth Bader Ginsburg Christmas ornaments)"
That was pretty good.

Target might come across as pretentious if the only other choice is Walmart. The few times I have been in the local Target I have not heard the shopping carts make that horrible Walmart screech which comes from 50% of the carts at Walmart being trash.
And you don't see as many overweight people cruising the Target aisles in the Walmart shopping scooters. Good thing those scooters don't overheat from the weight they need to carry. I'm waiting to see dual axle versions soon.

Take a spin through the conservative media ecosystem - or listen to most of the Republican presidential primary field - and you’ll learn one major takeaway: The “woke mind virus” has fully infected America’s largest corporations. Or you could just observe what they are and have been doing yourself without listening to any politicians and just state the obvious.

Target is pretentious? That’s a hoot.
A lot depends on what you grew up with. If you had Woolworth, Ames or Kresge/K-Mart, yes, Target would be pretentious in presentation by comparison. Where I was, Barker's and Stars were "normal" and Grant's (with it's Bradford House diner) and Caldor were "upscale".

I grew up with Jamesway in NYS. I’ve known K-Mart, Kresge, Ben Franklin, JC Penney, Sears in the old days of basic store design. All stores these days are a lot more pleasant than those cheap stores in the 50s and 60s. I wouldn’t call pleasant surroundings pretentious nor would I expect many of today’s shoppers would be happy in those old school stores.

Watching leftists drown in their hubris has taken the place of watching woke movies and TV.

We need to create as separate a society as possible from the globalist corporatists and their radical leftist allies (we live in the era of strange bedfellows), although separate schools, media, and popular culture are more important than things like this.
