***Another TG twitter link, she’s in Kula, fires there and in a couple of other places as well.
While nothing comes close to the catastrophic devastation of Lahaina, there are also fires that blazed last Tuesday in places like Kula and Olinda, turning homes into ash, and scorching across farms and thru trees. In Kula, firefighters are still fighting persistent fires.… pic.twitter.com/wUB9VYvI7b— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@TulsiGabbard) August 17, 2023
AHA! This one has a message at the end of a good place to donate, plus TG is driving around with a man who explains what happens with the wind there and why some houses burned and ones right next to it did not.
No matter how much they lost in this tragic disaster, the people of Maui have been there for each other from day 1. This is what it means to Live Aloha. #MauiStrong pic.twitter.com/jCyzxPvYwa— Tulsi Gabbard 🌺 (@TulsiGabbard) August 19, 2023

Say what you will about Tulsi - at least she’s there on the ground talking to people and trying to help.
Much respect!

If not Trump, I would vote for Tulsi, with whatever my disagreements with her are on some issues.
Keep in mind, as she is still in the Reserves, she has to choose her words carefully, but she is not happy at all with the response from Biden.
If you haven’t read her substack about why she left the Dem party, it’s well worth reading. I can post on the new thread. Part anyway, and a link. Many people think she became a Dem just to get elected (Rs don’t get elected in HI) but also to expose it, which she has. She was raised in a very, and I mean VERY, conservative family.
