Some POTUS mug photos have the County Sheriff’s badge over Trump’s right shoulder. The badge is missing in every other photo.

I missed any comments here, about that badge.

Why wouldn’t that be a fixture in all the photos?
Why does that badge alternately appear and disappear?

Is it an important comm?
Certainly it relates to the sheriff, whose name is legible on the badge.

Remember learning of the unusual authority of county sheriffs, over that of higher state or federal jurisdictional assertions of power, certain circumstances.

I am no expert on the details forgotten, but depending on the ignorance of, or his political affiliation, a sheriff, has an OATH and can play a meaningful jurisdictional role whenever they assert their authority in certain circumstances. I remember it was an eye opening revelation.

There was an alliance of sheriffs I had the privilege to hear speak on the subject and was relieved my sheriff was a White Hat. Not all necessarily are, in certain counties.

But blowing off voting for your county sheriff is always a mistake. They are in the middle mix of your local establishment swamp, and subject to close observation.

I’d guess that some are just photo-shopping out the badge.
