Ukrainians TRACK DOWN AND SHOT 3 RUSSIAN S-300 BATTERIES IN 1 HIMARS RAID | Ukraine War
There is great news today from both the eastern and southern fronts.
Today, the Ukrainian Forces continued to achieve the impossible using the ingenious use of American HIMARS. Here is the latest critical news about the war from the Ukrainian front lines.
Our first stop is a critical area from the harsh steppes of Donetsk. The Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Eastern Front carried out a successful operation to eliminate the Russian S-300 air defense system at a location in Donetsk whose location has not yet been determined. As a result of the operation, 3 S-300 launchers and 1 fuel tank belonging to the Russian army were completely burned as a result of the HIMARS attack. In addition, two radar stations of this complex were also damaged. The Russians were constantly moving this important defense complex, trying to hide it from the eyes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. But Ukraine said stop to this strategy of Russia in Donetsk.
With the loss of the Russian S-300 defense systems, the HIMARS missiles came to the fore. Because these monstrous missiles cost the Russians $2.7 million in the last attack. We are talking about the cost of 3 S-300 air defense system complexes. More importantly than the cost, the Russians were in a much more helpless position in Donbass as they lost these important air defense systems. The S-300’s killer HIMARS missiles and other artillery are high on Kiev’s request for security assistance from its Western allies, and the effective use of artillery is key to Ukraine’s continued counterattack. Alongside the S-300s, HIMARS continued to hunt the Russians on the front lines. The striking HIMARS attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued at full speed on the eastern front lines.
Ukraine’s defense ministry has shared new footage showing the Ukrainian HIMARS attack on Russian artillery units in the country’s annexed eastern Donetsk region. In the footage, it was revealed that four Russian self-propelled Msta howitzers were destroyed by the Ukrainian army’s HIMARS. Russian soldiers fleeing the positions after the HIMARS attacks were among the remarkable sections in these striking images. After the Russians lost 4 Russian self-propelled Msta howitzers, Donetks fell silent during the clashes on the frontline. Artillery and missile attacks ceased. Russian troops moved to secure positions and held defensive positions.
The Ukrainians, on the other hand, advanced carefully and resolutely on the territory of Donetsk after this legendary HIMARS attack. Fighters of Kiev have been using HIMARS since June 2022. According to the US Department of Defense, the US has so far provided 38 HIMARS and ammunition to Ukraine. It seems that these HIMARS supplies have been very useful to the Ukrainians on the battlefield in recent days. The Russians made an attempt in the direction of Avdiivka in order to prevent this advance of the Ukrainians in Donetsk, before they reach Bakhmut via Horlivka and Kurdiumivka. But the Ukrainian authorities reported that these efforts of the Russians were in vain.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar reported that the Russian Federation army failed to take Avdiivka in the Donetsk region with frontal attacks, so they tried to encircle the Ukrainian troops defending this settlement. According to Hanna Malyar, the Russian army does not risk entering Avdiivka for fear of conflicts with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Malyar, representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, added that the most important task for the Russian invaders at the moment is to advance.
The task of completely occupying the Donetsk region has long been one of the priority objectives for the Russian troops.
And only Avdiivka, which the Moscow side has been trying to control since 2014, was a strategically significant obstacle to the advance of Russian troops. In the last attempts of the Russians to attack this city, the Ukrainians reminded that Avdiivka still remains an obstacle to Moscow ‘s plans to invade Donetsk. With the use of western war equipment and tools in Zaporizhia as well as Donetsk, the course of clashes here is changing dramatically.
Ukrainians continue to remind Russian troops who is boss on the Zaporizhia front lines. Ukraine appears to have thrown one of its strongest brigades into battle against Russian forces in the south of the country. Evidence is emerging that the 82nd Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian army was heavily involved in the fight for the village of Robotyne in the western Zaporizhzhia region. Equipped with the best infantry armored vehicles and Challenger tanks delivered by NATO, the 82nd brigade already appears to be making gains around the village of Robotyne.
