Girls are not worse at math and logic than men. Anyone who thinks back to elementary school knows the girls were better. Most girls experience a discouragement from a high school teacher or a group or some film made by competitive men to discourage them. Takes an enormous amount of deprogramming to get pst it
Any Ivy League math professor knows women are great at math their mothers were encouraging and brilliant, ran a house where the father wasn’t an idiot bully competitive jerk who humbly encouraged everyone to excel.
In those ranks is where you find men reverent of the natural brilliant propensity of women to excel at math.
On Wall Street men revere women’s abiloto be good or better at math

Grew up in an upper middle class NY suburb. The women/mothers/wives running those homes were college educated daughters of moguls Their executive Manhattan commuting husbands entrusted them with their high value real estate and tge education of their kids None of those kids treated girls like they were stupid for being a girl and not in math. The girls excelled in math going through grammar school with women teachers- Dominican nuns - who excelled in teaching and teaching math in the way girls and boys could understand
Those girls now are doctors, nurses, architects, financiers- analysts, traders- real estate brokers managing multi million dollar properties
I encountered this women are stupid thing later after college when I joined the military. However the pilots respected women pilots They knew.

Ordinary math - yes women can excel but the math geniuses are men almost without exception. No one discouraged me in math. One summer I took algebra III in summer school just for a lark. My goal was to beat the boys in grades and I did so. I still remember the professor asking me to join his advanced classes in high school and me turning him down. I just wanted to have some fun. I think women are just not that interested in the sciences as much as men. We are interested mostly in relationships whether romantic, platonic or familial. These movies do nothing to discourage women from fulfilling some feminists’ wet dream of an equal society. How is it promoting equality when we pigeonhole women to do the things that they don’t care about?
And one more thing, I love your tagline. Florence King was a brilliant writer and curmudgeon. I miss her and I will never forgive NR for dumping her. She was the best thing after Buckley imo.
