"Sadly, false accusations are a source of pride for you."

OK, we'll try this again. . .

You're, once again, lying about and slandering me since I make no "false accusations." You have provided not one shred of evidence that I do that, though there is much evidence on this forum that you have done those things, and continue doing them.

I should report you to the mods for doing that but unlike you, I loathe censorship on this forum so I won't. Sooner or later your warped games here, your endless lies and clumsy slanders of FR commenters who disagree with your "cause," will be ended.

Fact: Davydov is in his thirties, well within what's considered "military age."

Fact: Davydov is a pilot at a time when his "beloved" Youcrayne is begging for pilots.

Fact: Davydov lives in Switzerland, where he posts pics of himself living very, very nicely and partying.

Fact: Davydov pulls down,at a minimum, somewhere in the neighborhood of 100K per year publishing pro-Youcrayne propaganda.

As a military aged Youcraynian male Davydov belongs on the ground, in Youcrayne, fighting for his country like many thousands of his countrymen are. But he is not.

Davydov ticks every box for being a shyster and most certainly is a draft-dodging coward.

Remember, falsely accusing people on this forum of making "false accusations" is gaslighting. Please stop doing that. You have a long history of putting words in people's mouths, accusing them of that which they are not guilty of and slandering people on this forum with your bullcrap, Stalinesque, phony psychoanalyses.

Stop now. Just stop - you're really embarrassing yourself. Really, you are.

Near as I can tell, the shawoman you refer to seems to have some sort of a license to lie, similar to James Bond’s license to shoot people. Same sewems to be true for several of the other Ichabodovich supporters on the forum...

LOL - the Youkazoids accusing any of us of “false accusations” is laughable. That’s all these people have done from Day 1.

We’ve been called “Putin puffers,” “Communists,” “Bolsheviks,” “Comrade” and other such nasty, unfounded accusations just because we are opposed to billions of our tax dollars going, unaccounted and unaudited, to a known money-laundering operation.

Thy audacity of these people.

Aw, darn it. Allegra, you've given Obama a title for his next book.

The Audacity of These People
After publishing, it will become a Netflix blockbuster and then included in the Obama Library alongside Florida's retired General Ben Hodge's Biden endorsement over Trump. :)

To be fair, I certainly only level such terms at people who go beyond arguing “opposed to billions of our tax dollars going, unaccounted and unaudited, to a known money-laundering operation.”

It’s one thing to see this as Europe’s problem, and have far bigger priorities at home.

Quite another thing to spend 500 days cheering on the Russian state apparatus that

1. concocted a smorgasbord of lies about a nonexistent genocide to cover up the Lebensraum + neo Eurasian empire building motive for the invasion (lies that have now been openly contradicted by the human rights ombudsman (FSB in Donetsk), Pushilin, Girkin and others),

2. Has ruthlessly suppressed all similar anti war dissent at home, imposing a sentence of up to 15 years just for peaceful protest, and arresting little girls for putting flowers at war memorials

3. Is relentlessly targeting civilian population areas and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, while acting butthurt if a legitimate military target gets hit by Ukraine in response or if a low yield firework takes a few tiles off a Russian roof

4. Has been mobilising people on national service into the warzone from day one (and don’t forget, told them all it was just a training exercise)

5. Isn’t repatriating all its recovered dead... Leaving families that should be compensated for their losses without the compensation they’re due. The lucky ones get a free second hand car.

6. Isn’t even providing decent field hospitals, so if their people get badly injured on the field they’re just left to die. Far more Russian casualties get treated by Ukrainian medics than get treated by Russian ones.

7. Either actively encourages, or condones, endless threats of nuclear escalation (and has been doing it for so long now that Ukraine now has security guarantees in that regard from CHINA!)

8. Has openly said even on camera in front of delegates from dozens of countries, that fuel and food blackmail have been and will continue to be intentionally used... Notoriously “all our hopes lie in the famine”.

9. Has rallied behind the “what Russia should do with Ukraine” genocidal manifesto. The one that promised Ukraine 20 years of brutality, collective punishment, forced relocation, and over 3 million dead or imprisoned EVEN IF it had surrendered unconditionally last spring/summer.

It’s really quite possible to be on the side of the Russian people AND on the side of the Ukrainian people AND on the side of Europe not America dealing with the crisis... And not see the Putin regime as evil to the core.

Putin’s regime is like Hitler’s. Bunch of psychos reading philosophy books. Hitler had Nietzsche, Putin has Dugin. Both had zigzag based iconography (Hitler had the swastika, Putin has the half swastika Z). Both like to see 7 year old kids in military uniform, learning how to handle battlefield weapons. Putin dehumanises ethnic Ukrainians the same way Hitler and Stalin dehumanised ethnic and religious groups.

Putin is therefore, by his own actions, the nearest thing to Hitler or Stalin that we’ve seen on this planet since the turn of the millennium.

Being massively anti homo or anti Western or building a few churches doesn’t alter the fact he is evil. In fact, anyone familiar with the Bible should know about putting your trust in a false Messiah.

Consider all the attention thrown by neocons and conservatives at Radical Islam inside the population of the USA as well as at at Al Qaeda after 9/11. Granted the USA was attacked. But on what planet would FR have rallied behind the Wahhabi sponsors of 9/11?

Just because Putin hasn’t attacked the US directly with a missile or a hijacked plane doesn’t alter the fact he has been attacking the USA and its partners indirectly for over 15 years. Especially with cyber attacks..

So you’d think that this relentless hero worship of the Putin regime would go down like a mug of warm cat sick on FR. It really is like cheering on Al Qaeda and Isis on the basis that killing kids and treating girls like cattle is offset by them REALLY hating the gays.

Quite another thing to spend 500 days cheering on the Russian state apparatus that…

I’m not saying that nobody on FR does this, but I haven’t seen it. I have only seen the Ukrainians on FR falsely accusing others of this. There may be a couple of FReepers who outright support Russia, but the vast majority us are against *both* corrupt counties and don’t want to see our hard-earned money going to either one.

We here at FR detest having our own corrupt “leadership” sending money free and clear to a grifter. No accounting, no audits necessary.

So you’d think that this relentless hero worship of the Putin regime…

Where?? I don’t believe anybody here is worshiping Putin or his regime. I’ve seen a few posts that appear to sanctify Zelensky, though. (Winston Churchill - really??)

While I do see some Russian propaganda here, what I mostly see is a daily onslaught of Ukrainian propaganda to the point that it pollutes the Latest Posts feed all throughout the day.

I’ve said it before: I’d love to see all of the Uke-Rus propaganda confined to one daily thread. Or it could be one daily thread for each- one for the Uke supporters and one for the Rus supporters. ALL relative articles, links, photos, etc. would be confined to these threads. It would reduce the forum clutter and give those who are emotionally involved a place to indulge their obsession without stinking up the newsfeed all day long.

It works for the Q articles (I will say that the Q followers seem to be much nicer than the resident Ukrainians overall) and I think it would work with the Uke-Rus articles.

It is a major defect of American education, and ultimately American thinking, to personalize international relations, as if Russia’s interests and perfectly predictable actions = “Putin”. We did this with “Saddam”, we did it with “Qadaffi”, we did it with “Osama”, and when we do this, it makes the currents and the future of the international situation very hard to understand.

You should probably address that to the person to whom I was replying. He is the one who appears to be quite wrapped around the axle when it comes to Putin.

I refrained from asking him if Putin is in the room with us.

That defect is by no means unique to the Unites States. What is unique, apparently and unfortunately, is the unwillingness or inability to view the Ukraine situation through anything other than the distorting prism of American domestic politics.

this relentless hero worship of the Putin regime

Any country (including this one) acting in its own vital interests to defend its borders has nothing to do with "the Putin regime".

No Russian leader could tolerate the American overthrow of the government of an adjacent country with a declared plan to incorporate it into an American military alliance.

Putin is just the guy in the big chair who needed to respond to this naked US adventurism.

You know the US Marine Hymn? You know it starts with "the Halls of Montezuma"?

What do you think that refers to?

So you haven’t seen the moron who keeps posting a Christmas wish meme, cheering on the humiliation of Ukraine on the basis that the entire country needs to be destroyed for the grifting of the Biden regime?

Or the people who do the same in regard to Zelenskyy, who yes is a grifter but has a SWORN DUTY as President not to bug out leaving his country to be raped on his watch, like Yanukovych did? It’s his job to cajole allies to help. Heck, it’s not his fault the USA signed the Budapest Memorandum making it a legitimate go-to outfit.

Yanukovych... Now there’s a grifter... He took the billion roubles and sold Crimea and the Donbas out to invasion, and both regions have been very poorly served by the Kremlin’s corrupt, unelected and unelectable Gauleiters ever since.

The sheer fact you see this entirely and only through a purely American Adventurism lens (which is itself a Russian talking point, opinion/vranyo applies) shows you up as someone who’s comfortable with combining indefensible Nazi level Russian Propaganda bullshit with a perfectly defensible American isolationism policy position.... and managed to make 2 and 2 make 5.

Russia isn’t “threatened” by NATO in any way other than rampant over-the-top theatrical paranoia for gullible idiots to swallow. US NATO hasn’t so much as fired a single shot at Russia in decades and Putin knows that “don’t poke the bear” has been dominating the position American government takes ever since Bush 1 was POTUS.

What Russia really fears is EU NATO... because it fears the day that all those client states the USSR used to be able to brutalise, and the Revanchists want to reclaim, one day deciding to give Moscow some serious payback.

It is pissed off that EU NATO’s alliances and partnerships stop Putin doing to the Baltic countries, Balkans, Moldova, Georgia, Khazakstan and Ukraine, what he and Medvedev already did to Chechnya. They’re pissed off that there’d be consequences.

It also knows those alliances would be far less threatening if the USA followed France and bugged out of the collective defense.

Not only that, our source for this different interpretation isn’t Uke propaganda at all. It’s from Russian state television, and even national television broadcasts by senior Russian politicians and even Lukashenko putting the invasion roadmap on a three meter high billboard for a national broadcast. It’s in Dugin’s philosophical writing. It’s in Zhirinovsky’s rhetoric. And it’s in Putin’s cretinous retarded Mein Kampf level screeds about how all the Slavs would love Mother Russia if they didn’t have Polish and other forces encouraging them to fear and hate the thought of Russification.

We in eastern Europe and the UK are closer to the problem than Benelux and France, and it’s why we are pig sick of Swiss, German, French and American “don’t poke the bear” blinkers.

Trump got it, Biden and Obama didn’t. But France and Switzerland still haven’t figured it out. Throwing eastern Europe under the bus is not a solution to Russian revanchist expansionism.

One forner French leader has yet again wheeled out all the weakest Russian talking points as part of an action plan best summed up as “we’re so far west of the Russian Federation that it’s not our problem even if they totally destabilise eastern Europe and march all the way to Berlin.”

Churchill said something about the folly of throwing others to the wolves hoping you’ll be last.

France isn’t in NATO. The UK and USA are. France wasn’t a signatory to the Budapest Memorandum. The USA and UK are. That’s what makes it our problem politically despite us being geographically far away from the problem.

Chechnya and Georgia weren’t covered by the Budapest Memorandum, but Ukraine is.

If Russia didn’t want Ukraine to have that guarantee from the USA then it shouldn’t have pitched or signed the Budapest Memorandum.

And if we all hadn’t signed Budapest, then the most corrupt country in Europe would’ve been selling Soviet nukes on the black market. Or, keeping a couple handy to hit Moscow if needed.

So Budapest’s got bugger all to do with American Adventurism. It was at Russia’s and Ukraine’s joint insistence that we signed that Memorandum. We weren’t so much “don’t poke the bear” as practically giving the bear the best blow job it’s ever had. Total control over all Soviet nukes, three potential enemies in future dispossessed of their best deterrent.

And now the bear is miffed that we’re beholden to an agreement it needed us to sign.
Toughshitskyi.
