That’s the version I grew up in. An America full of hard men who just won a war. A world where lawlessness was dealt with, without hesitation. Then came the 60s and the hippies. Things changed once those losers started moving into politics and teaching.
My early youth mirrors yours in this regard. We are probably near the same age. But definitely kindred spirits.
