People with lung disease depend on mains electricity to run oxygen concentrators.

Power should only be cut of as required by law (and executive order).

Lines might be tested for durability to say 100 mph wind force.

Because of a line repair that came undone, I went five days without power after Hurricane Ian hit my part of Florida.
