That suggests to me that America will be losing a minimum of 10 million.

I think it'll be much higher after an EMP disables our power grid and those who depend medications that require refrigeration, oxygen assistance, etc.. die off quickly. Followed by rioting, looting, scrambling for food, fuel, etc..

Then winter comes and the mass die off begins.

China would be landing on our shores virtually unopposed within two years.

California would surrender first. Then the rest of the West Coast states and just like that, China has a foothold into the Western US.
