Because they are now replaceable by third worlders, thanks to their traitorous leadership.

This was one thing I liked about them. How many Americans have nearly worked themselves to death, only to get shitcanned for Raj Patel?

“On Europe’s current economic trajectory, how long until vacation is exclusively for the rich?”

Life is still good for the elites. The system works quite well for them.

Paid time off policy is something for each business to decide for itself, and not a matter for government. If someone has to have a certain amount of paid vacation days and holidays, he needs to find a job with a company offering that.

It wasn’t long ago that European countries offered free vacation destinations through the church, unions, or government.I do miss those "Kraft durch Freude" resorts on the Baltic coast!
But at least we still have the autobahn!
Seriously: Vacationing in "Balkonien" ("in Balconia" - or "on the balcony" - as the humorous German expression goes) is probably more relaxing than flying to some overcrowded holiday destination for a sangria-soaked "Blitzurlaub."

While it’s great that European workers have 20 to 30 days of paid time off, it loses its luster if you’re not able to actually if you can’t actually afford to go anywhere or instead spend that time working your second job.Needs a proofreading!

The problem with voting for a worker’s paradise is that you just end up a work slave, owning nothing, which makes the Neo-feudalists happy.

I’m already doing the bare minimum and teaching the same to my fellow younger white male coworkers.
Good luck without white men.

Notice it says “legal right”. Neither the U.S. nor the U.K. has a legal right to take Christmas Day off.

In DeSantis’ Florida I had to pay a county-approved plumber $1200 to install a backflow device that probably cost the plumbing company slightly over $200.

I do miss those "Kraft durch Freude" resorts on the Baltic coast! And listening to the news on your Volksempfänger Radio.

I’m missing what either of those things has to do with paid time off.

WGAF.
Paying people for staying home from work is simply not a sound economic policy and business practice.
That’s why I can almost guarantee you that the words “vacation” and “holiday” are nowhere to be found in the Bible.

Yes, God said we should make a few people very rich while becoming morbidly obese in a cubicle.
I think it’s the Gospel according to John…
The Bible is a book by men, not God.
