Sadly, this has become accepted as “totally normal”...Just like people accepting $4 per gallon gas they’re accepting young kids with heart attacks.

Not sure how it works everywhere else, but I found this for MA:

“ For example, in Massachusetts, autopsy reports are medical records. Under section 32 chapter 2, the state’s chief medical examiner may only share autopsy reports with the following parties: Law enforcement agents/ investigatory bodies. Spouses and next of kin.”

If the death was not criminal, you need to get the information from the family. Pretty sure they are probably not in the proper headspace to feed the internets” desire to know.
