Its especially why the DOJ remained Trump’s enemy for his entire administration.

That is a fact that Republicans turning on Trump refuse to understand. Trump had a Republican Senate leadership that was passively undermining him much of the time. That was in addition to the Democrats starting to move on removing him before his win was confirmed.
The Republicans turning on Trump think their new hero will be immune to what happened to Trump. McConnell will make sure outside Republican President #2 gets a backstabbing and mediocre Attorney General and appointees the same.
