She favors those often farther away and much more "commercial." Another in this set of conversations about Ukraine/Russia content creation seems to measure them in terms of "popularity and success."
Your YouTube cited is from a content creator just across the border from Russia in Finland. His take is so different than the "popular" ones. He is:

One of her oft recommended channels is uploaded from within the United States is "Kanal13" and it is heartily monetized! So, one sees that a small, lone voice across the border in Finland and another, not detailed from Belarus, differ from the UMCRevMom@aol.com favored YouTube channels, and the difference seems one of "popularity ans success" in attracting viewers and clicks, the most successful being here in the United States.
Since Nov 6, 2012, the channel has generated 2,020,765,228 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $6,062,295.68 over 3915 days. That's an average of $565,194.87 per year.As YouTube verifies "Location: United States"

And as an interesting detail, they are associated with a commercial entity in Azerbaijan. This is why they upload in the United States, you see.The channel "UATV English" is monetized! Since Feb 8, 2017, the channel has generated 253,671,329 views. Assuming all views were monetized from day 1* with an average RPM of $3.00, this channel has generated $761,013.99 over 2360 days. This is an interesting channel, which uploads every day from Ukraine. We are told Ukraine is busy with the conduct of the war, so one may think this part of the information war, though the earnings seem to devolve to one individual, unless this is part of the government.
But the hands on favorite is the raison d'être for the months and months of "daily bread™" threads which begin with the beloved Denys Davydov, resident these many years (likely ten or more based on Swiss visa rules) and YouTube content creator in Switzerland. His take is estimated in the range of "$68.2K - $1.1M ESTIMATED YEARLY EARNINGS."
I find your counterpoint to her recommendations quite refreshing in broadening the scope of the officially non-NATO war which so deeply involves NATO.
Encouraging your participation in the discussion, with thanks.

Belarus is under an authoritarian government that doesn’t permit dissent. Finland is no closer to Ukraine than is Switzerland. What, do you expect Russian characters to sneak in and whisper in his ears? They can get to Switzerland just as easily with EU visa rules.
And the other favorite pro-Russian bunch includes a fellow in Singapore, another in Australia, an Indian newspaper, others in Cyprus and the UK.
All “monetized”.
