She is making comments about her wealth when people are losing everything. Even if she lost everything Maui, she can rebuild when many others can’t.

I can be happy for her that she was vety lucky, she should be focusing on her fellow islanders and their well-being.

It’s optics.

Nobody wants to hear about a multimillionaire being slightly inconvenienced on their get away vacation from their vacation life, when thousands are now homeless and countless roasted alive in their cars. The best thing they can do is STFU and quietly do something with their millions that would actually help those who need it.

Agreed. Just because it impacted her less shouldn’t mean she can’t share about. Apparently she should be organizing a Live Aid and saying only PR-approved pro native Hawaiian stuff.
