They don't call that area “Crime Hills” for nothing. This was the ‘hood where a local reporter was out in the street doing a report about a woman who was killed by her boyfriend and the boyfriend, po’d about the attention, circled back and shot and killed the reporter.

In a way, kind of similar to when Tookie Williams saw himself on a TV screen after shooting a convenience store clerk (the store had CCTV). He responded by shooting the TV screen.
Kind of tough on the reporter though.

Pine Hills?
There are no hills in central/south Florida, I mean, outside of the interstate overpasses... Must be fake news.

I am old enough to remember when Pine Hills was an ordinary neighborhood on the west side of Orlando full of orderly white working class families. Now it is so bad that in 2017, the local Pine Hills Walmart was the scene of the murder of a heroic black woman cop. Going into the Walmart, she recognized and confronted a murder suspect, who promptly pulled a gun and shot her dead — at 7:15 in the morning. This being Florida, the shooter was caught and is now on death row.
