Day 535: 13 Aug Russians Furious. Ukrainians WIPED OUT RUSSIAN MAIN BASE in 1 SCALP Strike | Ukraine War Ukrainian territory is witnessing the meltdown of the Russian army on all front lines from the Crimea to the Donbass. Especially in recent days, Kiev has expanded its counter-attack plans actions by including the air force in the attacks of unmanned aerial vehicles and naval surface vehicles. Ukrainian Air Force personnel, on the other hand, have come to the fore in critical southern front lines such as Zaporizhia, Tokmak, Melitopol and Kherson lately.
An important offensive operation is currently underway in these southern regions of Ukraine. With the support of the Ukrainian Air Force to these operations, the Russian casualties are increasing and Moscow is leaving the occupied Ukrainian southern settlements one by one. Long-range missiles supplied from the West, on the other hand, adapt to Ukrainian fighter jets, increasing Kiev’s air success by 50%. At the head of these long-range missiles are the French-made SCALPs. SCALP long-range missiles deployed on Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jets have already begun to destroy Russian military resources in the southern trenches, despite their recent arrival.
MiG-29 fighter jets equipped with SCALP long-range missiles recently conducted dozens of sorties in and around Zaporizhia. As a result of these sorties, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out twelve attacks against Russian military resources in the direction of Zaporizhia. Ten of these attacks were against a Russian manpower and equipment cluster, one against an anti-aircraft missile complex, and the other against a Russian supply centre. It was claimed that SCALP long-range missiles were used in these air attacks by the Ukrainians. And it was even among the incoming data that the Russian supply center in Zaporizhia was blown up by SCALPs.
While the Russians were shaken by these critical air strikes, the Ukrainian Air Force continued to keep its course in the direction of Zaporizhia. As a result of successive sorties by Ukrainian pilots, 8 ammunition depots and 1 checkpoint belonging to the Russian army in the direction of Tavria were destroyed. It is reported that artillery batteries of the Ukrainian Defense Units also participated in these mind-blowing airstrikes. It was also revealed that in this offensive operation in Tavria, nearly 250 soldiers of the Russian army were out of the war and more than 20 Russian military equipment was destroyed in the region.
In other words, the cost of this offensive operation, carried out jointly by the artillery batteries of the Ukrainian Air Force and the Defense Units, was quite heavy for Moscow. Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, commander of the Tavria troop group, also confirmed these critical data. According to the commander, the artillery units of the Defense Forces carried out 1,545 shooting missions during the day. Russian troops continued to suffer military losses as the Ukrainian Air Force continued offensive operations in the Tavria direction. As a result of these critical operations, which lasted only 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 3 battle tanks, 6 battleships, 3 artillery systems and dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Russian army in Tavria and other critical front lines of Zaporizhia.
As a result of these heavy attacks by the Ukrainian Air Force, it was seen that the Russian troops moved to a more defensive position in the direction of Zaporizhia. In addition to the air operations, the Ukrainian ground attack teams continued their offensive operations in Urozhaine after clearing the Russian troops from Staromaiorske in the direction of Velyka Novosilka. Ukrainian forces have taken steps in the past few days to push Russian troops from this enclave and seize overall control of the Zaporizhia front lines. Ukrainian special forces launched heavy attacks on the soldiers of the 37th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the Russian army near Urozhaine.
The vast majority of the soldiers of this Russian Brigade fled outside the city’s borders, paving the way for the Ukrainian advance. The offensive plans of Kiev continued in the direction of Kherson as well as Zaporizhia. Recently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian command post on Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson direction. This striking news was reported in the Strategic Communications Department of the Office of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, StratCom released a stunning video from Novaya Kakhovka in which huge plumes of smoke can be seen above the Russian checkpoint location.

Ukraine destroyed two major ammunition depots in occupied Oleshky district in southern Ukraine overnight on the 13th August. A mysterious fire erupted in Ramenskoye, 25 miles southeast of Moscow. Initial reports said the plant contained “fertilisers”, while others said it contained plastic pallets, but it was unclear if it also had a military purpose. The blaze ripped apart a warehouse and covered an area of more than 20,000 square feet with toxic black smoke surging into the sky.

Russian terrorists must feel only one thing: they will be destroyed - address by the President of Ukraine
13 August 2023 - 22:19
Address of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Fellow Ukrainians!
Today, Russian invaders brutally attacked Kherson region. There are dead and wounded.
At 4 am, the village of Veletenske was shelled. A house caught fire. A guy was wounded: he has severe burns, he is now in an intensive care unit.
9 am - the occupiers attacked the village of Shyroka Balka. They used artillery. Five people were killed.
Among them was a baby girl, 22 days old. Her brother, who was only 12 years old, was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, they could not save him. He died from severe wounds. The children’s mother - her name was Olesia, she was only 39 years old - died. My condolences!
Around the same time, the village of Stanislav was shelled. Two people were wounded, two were killed. The men were 71 years old and 57 years old.
In total, from the beginning of this day until 6 pm, there have already been 17 reports of shelling from Kherson region alone. Other regions include Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Donbas, Kharkiv, the border areas with Russia in the northeast.
Everywhere our warriors retaliate against the occupiers’ terror. There is not a single day when Russian evil does not get our completely fair retaliation.
Every occupier destroyed, every piece of Russian equipment burned, fire instead of their headquarters and warehouses, the very eloquent smoke on Kerch bridge and more - all this proves that we will not leave any of Russia’s crimes unanswered. And each of our warriors who gives Ukraine results on the frontline - along the entire frontline from Kharkiv to Kherson - each of our warriors has the opportunity to bring justice to Ukraine.
Everyone who helps our warriors. Now there are only two personal lines of behavior: either you fight for Ukraine, or you help fight and save lives.
Today, there is much to thank the 95th separate airborne assault brigade for: their resilience and results in the battles in the Kupyansk sector. Well done, warriors! Powerful.
The 1st battalion of the 67th separate mechanized brigade, also in the Kupyansk sector, acted heroically and courageously. Thank you!
The paratroopers of our glorious “Seventy-ninth” in the Maryinka sector - thank you, warriors!
Melitopol and Berdyansk direction - I thank every warrior who gives Ukraine the necessary results!
Bakhmut direction - well done, guys!
Every time we have something to thank our warriors for, Ukraine becomes closer to justice, closer to victory. And Russian murderers on our land become closer to destruction.
This is the only way we can create the conditions for the whole of Ukraine to become free and safe again.
Russian terrorists must feel only one thing: they will be destroyed.
And one more thing. Behind every report of shelling and injuries of our people, there are stories of heroism of our Ukrainian doctors and nurses working in the frontline areas.
I am grateful to all our medical workers who, despite everything, save lives!
Today, I would like to recognize those who have shown themselves the most in helping our people in Kherson region.
Doctors: Vasyl Chystiakov, Natalia Kyniv, Artur Rakhimov, Ivan Ososkalo. This is a team from the Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital.
Nurses: Iryna Tytarenko, Olena Bondar, Larysa Shmyhol.
Medics from the ambulance teams who helped the wounded in the villages of Stanislav, Komyshany and Shyroka Balka: Natalia Pupenko, Ilona Shylo, Victoria Hanzha, Maryna Shramkova, Svitlana Stoliarova.
Kherson’s ambulance: emergency medicine doctor Pavlo Dziuba and feldsher Vitalii Biriukov, both sent to Kherson region from Sumy for reinforcement.
Feldshers: Natalia Adriyanova and Vitalii Rudakov.
Kherson city hospital: surgeons Serhiy Bondaruk, Serhiy Tonkontsov and Viktor Yakovenko.
I thank you, each and every one of you, and all your colleagues, for every life saved!
The Ukrainian people are extremely brave and courageous. We know that freedom is priceless, and we know how to defend it. We know how to protect life. And we have to remember that every day must bring results in the defense of Ukraine. Not a single day should be wasted! At the front, in the areas near the front, everywhere in the rear, and, very importantly, by every diplomatic mission of Ukraine.
Weapons for our warriors, support for our state, and legal responsibility for Russian terrorists. Ukraine will definitely prevail! But this will be our common result. Of all those who are fighting and working for Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine!
Yesterday Roman Kurakh, a Ukrainian Greek Catholic priest in Uzhgorod in western Ukraine, prayed for peace.
Today he was forced to apologize for it.

Lucky the SBU doesn’t come after anyone here who posts prayers for peace..
no F16’s?
Reports of this and that fight, the retaking and losing of land - it’s just re-arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The Ukraine never acquired the F-16’s and many many other assets it said it needed to ‘win’. NATO supplied the Ukraine with everything it could but NATO is no longer able to continue backing their proxy war against Russia.
The news media is beginning to pivot - they are gently transitioning to reveal the Ukraine is losing. They don’t want the public to know the MSM, gov officials, some of whom are so-called ‘elites’ in the Deep State, have been lying to us to extract billions from America’s tax payers to redistribute amongst themselves. There are still some trying to portray the war as worth another 20 Billion or so of US tax dollars, and thousands more lives on the battlefield.

I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the five hundred thirty fifth day of the war.
Day 535: Aug 12
Today there is a lot of news from the south.
Here, Ukrainian Air Force conducted a complex drone and missile strike on Crimea. First of all, Ukrainians launched several groups of drones from Odesa, which primarily headed toward Armiansk, Novoozerne, and Saky. Local residents reported hearing multiple explosions near the Russian base in Novoozerne. The available footage from the region confirms that a lot of Ukrainian drones reached this region.
Later, it was revealed that Ukrainians used in this attack only cheap Chinese drones. Combining this fact with the fact that the strike was quite broad, we can conclude that the goal of the strike was not necessarily to destroy Russian military objects but rather to draw attention away from the main strike.
The target of the main strike became the Kerch Bridge. As you remember, a month ago, Ukrainians successfully damaged the bridge for the second time by using marine drones. A week ago, Ukrainians tried to repeat their success and strike the bridge with marine drones once again, but it did not go well as the Russians prepared the area, which is why today, Ukrainians tried something new. This time Ukrainians reportedly used modified ballistic missiles S-200. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians used 2 missiles simultaneously.
This time, Ukrainian missiles were shot down, however, Ukrainian forces gained a great insight into the current disposition of the Russian air defense because the locals filmed the Russian air defense work. The footage completely gave away Russian positions, which is why the Russian media expressed extreme discontent, called them traitors, and urged other people not to do this. Unfortunately for Russians, Ukrainians launched one more missile 2 hours later, at around lunch time, which led to even more footage exposing Russian positions. The follow-up strike, therefore, is just a matter of time.
And the strike on the Kerch bridge is a logical continuation of the destruction of the Russian logistics that we have recently seen. Less than a week ago, Ukrainians conducted a series of strikes on 3 important Russian Bridges in the northern part of Crimea. The first and second targets became the Chonhar road bridges. The footage shows that Ukrainians made a hole in the center of both bridges. Even though the damage does not seem to be extensive, some Russian sources mentioned that the frame of the bridge was damaged.
The third target of the strike became the road bridge across the Henichesk Strait. Russian sources reported that Ukrainian forces launched 12 missiles and that 3 missiles managed to pass through the Russian air defense. As can be seen from the footage, this bridge suffered significantly and incurred substantial damage to the roadbed. And this is extremely important because, less than 2 weeks ago, the Russian Federal Security Service suspended civilian entry to the Arabat Spit, which means that this bridge was allocated for the exclusive use of the Russian military.
The extent of the damage to the bridge across the Henichesk Strait and the 2 Chonhar road bridges is likely forcing Russian forces to redirect military traffic to longer western routes. Simultaneously, most, if not all, civilian road traffic now has to pass along the same route. Moreover, 2 weeks ago, Ukrainians also took out the Russian railroad bridge leading to Melitopol. This major bottleneck in Russian ground lines of communication will likely pose significant disruptions to logistics and chances for delays and traffic jams.
On top of the delays, the western ground lines of communication are closer to Ukrainian positions in the upper Kherson region and, in many cases, within artillery range of the Ukrainian-held western bank of the river. Russian forces could reduce risks from Ukrainian indirect fire by taking slower and less efficient village roads northeast of Chaplynka, but they would still be within HIMARS range. Such a setting, in fact, has already deranged Russian supplies to the front, caused a lot of problems on the zero line, and recently allowed Ukrainians to penetrate Russian defense by multiple km, especially in the Velyka Novosilka direction. But more on that in the next video.

More and more details became known from the meeting of high-ranking representatives of Ukraine and more than 40 countries in Saudi Arabia. They discussed the real implementation of the “Peace Formula” of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Rather than asking when the Ukrainian offensive will produce this or that result, we urge partners to ask what else can be done to assist Ukraine’s defense forces in carrying out their missions; to that end, we require more mine cleaning equipment, air defense systems, artillery and ammunition, long-range missiles, including ATACMS, and armoured vehicles.
Unimpeded exports of Ukrainian grain will help a lot of countries to obtain the agricultural products they need at the price they can afford.
