Some new facts I did not know, but am not at all surprised, are fake drainage and fake fire hydrants. Reminds me of the Potempkin villages in the USSR. Foreigners were only allowed to visit a few places. When photos of spreading suburbs from America reached overseas, the USSR commies called them the same thing.
