When I was a kid we could walk to Memorial Stadium* to see the Orioles play. The bleacher seats cost 75 cents. Last week we went to see the Orioles at Camden Yards and left field seats were $40.
*: I would not walk in that neighborhood now. And Memorial Stadium is gone.
Not to mention $14 for a sandwich and $14 for a beer. If you went by yourself with a free ticket it would still cost nearly $100 between parking, food and beer.
