I had bilateral knee replacement last September. They took some of my blood prior to the surgery, just in case. The Doc said there are fewer complications that way. I just thought it was a common practice. This was the first surgery I ever had.

No...my hub tried to give HIS blood to a friend for heart surgery...both A-...he was told it just went in the “pool”
