The breeding sows are fun to watch with the piglets. Two of the 3 have had their 2nd litters & are experienced mamas ... they don’t put up with a lot of the shenanigans they tolerated with the first litter. One of the sows is going to the county fair in a breed display since she is a registered Gloucestershire Old Spot. These are the white hogs with black spots in a lot of folk art & efforts are underway to rebuild this heritage breed in this country. She’s huge - I want to know how she’s going to get a bath so she’s all ‘pretty’ for the fair! :-)
