Multiple objectives in play, I think.
They are litigating anyone who tried to help Trump in order to discourage anyone from ever helping him, particularly lawyers.
The Deep State then laughs, "Look! Look! He's such a crook he's having a hard time getting a lawyer!" I read an article like that, detailing a law firm that left and others that backed away etc.
They were seeking to disbar Guiliani - he retired and I think they still wanted to disbar him. If they do this enough, Trump WILL have a hard time finding a lawyer not afraid or not disbarred.
Then, anyone who offers comment on the news, e.g., Guiliani, is described as 'fully discredited and disbarred for unprofessional behavior'. The 'fruits' of bearing false witness destroy careers as if they were sand castles...
