The point is that Weiss has let the major tax charges against Hunter run out on the statute of limitations, then tried to achieve a plea deal that would have absolved Hunter from ALL further prosecutions. When the plea deal fell through, Weiss should have immediately filed indictments on the remaining charges to avoid the statute of limitations expiring - it has been over two weeks and he has not asked for indictments.
He will let the statute run out on everything while he 'investigates' {same with John Durham.} The House Oversight Committee has accomplished more in 6 months than Weiss in nearly six years.
The DoJ is only capable of prosecuting Donald Trump and his staff and legal team - and that on vague paste-up charges. The Bitems will be free to run again and again for the WH {the Lord allowing!}
