Biden’s reference to a “Black Box” is weird. “Black Box” in today’s popular imagination refers to the data recorder on commercial aircraft revealing the possible causes behind a crash. Perhaps “Black Box” is a weirdly “Freudian” choice.

His contention that a constant, unrelenting stream of immigrants bringing new cultures and religions is what makes America able to recreate itself every 20 years is ridiculous on its face as well.

Throughout our history, we have had one culture and one religion (in the broadest sense), and that has only recently been challenged by introducing atheistic Marxist materialism into our nation’s schools not new religions into our country. In fact, a dangerous nihilism has replaced religion.

As a nation, we were never stronger, never more unified, than we were during the Second World War. We fought on two massive fronts and were victorious on both.

(Yes, the Soviet Union bore the brunt of Nazi aggression on Germany’s eastern front, and Britain and her empire were our allies in the Pacific theater.)

Our victory in World War Two was after a quarter of a century of severely restricted immigration into the United States with admissions designed to reflect the makeup of the country in 1890—the year before the massive and unrestricted immigration that necessitated the establishment of a central processing station on Ellis Island in New York harbor. (see “Immigration Act of 1924”)

This national cohesion would be destroyed 40 years later by the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1965. My personal belief is that WW2 proved what the American people were capable of when truly united as one nation, one people, and one culture...and that could not be allowed.

is a great statement - and we also saw MOST of the country coalesce after the attacks on 9/11....
