I'm sure someone saw it and suggested they do another take, but Pence refused. He can't admit he did something wrong.

It’s an ad-hoc production. If he had to stand there and fiddle with his card, scanners, and the dozens of apps we pleebs have to deal with then the commercial would be 90 seconds of him fiddling with crap before the nozzle even left the pump.

Plus a lot of us have to do into our banking app to transfer money to get to the correct card to buy the gas.. often paying percentages or almost a dollar to even access our own money.

He was trying to make the process look tedious.. but they missed the essence of the problem.

Americans aren’t crippled when it costs them 2 dollars more every few days to fill up. They are crippled because a vast number of those people have to turn on their Uber driver app when the tank reaches 1/4 so they can cash out and afford it.
