Tried it out - was not bad Designed to be done by soldier with minimal ingredients and cooking time
I never liked rice pudding
Irritated my mother to no end.
It was one of the few deserts our family could afford to have regularly and I turned up my nose.
I generally don’t like rice at all.
If eating Chinese, Japanese or Mexican I will eat maybe a tablespoon of rice with the meal.
It’s also Fall-and-Break-Your-Hip Day, ironically.
Diane Feinstein Day?............
I love rice pudding, had a microwave recipe I would make often , that my son loved. I would make it when he was home on leave visits from USMC.
Question, from the article:
“A variety of recipes exist for rice pudding. All of them include cooked rice as the base ingredient and combine a milk (such as cow’s, coconut, evaporated, or cream) with bread.”
I have never heard of using bread in it. Is that just a mistake, or are there recipes that use bread?
And next week in honor of the senile SOB in the White House, along with Mitchie McConnell, Nanzi Pelosi and Dianne Feinstein, we will celebrate strained peas day.
Yes, we’ll give peas a chance......................
I love rice pudding...growing up I ask my mom to make more rice so we can have it for dessert.
