I had a blue meryl Aussie when the kids were little. Her name was Kiki too.

I like all dog breeds for one reason or another, but, there’s nothing like an Aussie...

Kiki is my first dog. Before her, I really didn’t give much of a hoot about listening to people talking about their dogs.

But, when I retired, I decided I wanted a dog, and friends told me to get an Aussie.

I found a great breeder in Woodstock, GA. I followed the pups, and Kiki stood out.

She’s with me all the time. Everywhere I go. I’ll leave her occasionally at one of those doggie day care places, where the staff love the dogs and they get to mingle. Really helped her social skills.

I cannot imagine how you can leave an Aussie in a cage all day, or alone all day while you’re at work, unless you’re going to spend the rest of the night playing with her.

I don’t know about your Kiki, but mine is.... Play, eat, play, sleep, play, poop, play, etc

Anyway, feel free to tell me about your Kiki. What did she like to do the most? Could she swim naturally or did you have to teach her?
