Russia had a similar drop in arms sale after both times in Iraq. India dropping SU-57 development and no one committing to buy T-14 Armatas is not helping. Since the fall of the USSR, every few years the world keeps getting reminders of two key features of Russian weapons. Buying Russian weapons subsidizes Russian military operations. Second, the performance and quality of Russian weapons are not what they used to be.
