Maybe there's an election soon 🤔 I think so.
Not til 2025.
And there doesn’t have to be one sooner, does there, thanks to that handy dandy recent change in election law.
If only they’d listened to Enoch Powell, they wouldn’t be in this mess.
For anyone who missed it...

Note the timing.
There’s popular meme on social media: “Enoch was right”.
The Falklands would be a safe place for those seeking asylum.
Since these people often come from rug producing areas they could weave rugs from the wool of Falklands sheep.
Controversial?
What the hell is so Controversial? It is a statement of fact. No one is forcing those parasites to come to England.
Stay in France!
The UK should have zero immigrants as it is an island nation.
Japan (useful to compare) would not tolerate them yet the UK imports them.
It’s very strange.
If one of the sheeple in the GOP were to say something as politically incorrect as that....they’d be hung from the nearest lamp post and displayed for the next two weeks for effect.
The Romans, Norsemen, Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, came on barges/longboats. Operation Sea Lion would have brought invaders/occupiers in WWII if not for the RAF.
Why do we not see history repeating itself. Invaders come to take and rule.
Statement of fact is controversial? Perhaps it’s delicate English ears and sensibilities that have never heard the F-word used. (Apparently there are still some English folks that have never been to a “football” match.)
IIRC there’s an election next year.My understanding of recent British elections is that one Party gets power and keeps it for 10-15 years and then the other Party takes over. The “Conservatives” have been in power since 2010. I haven’t seen any polls but I’d wager that Labour is polling well these days.
The Brits have, for years, had an immigration policy that makes it easy for citizens of former colonies to move to Britain. That would include Australia and Canada,as well as India...Pakistan...Jamaica...and Botswana (among others).
I think that elections must be held at least every 5 years...and it’s possible for it to be less under certain circumstances.
