Falcon 9 launch - Heads up for those in the Southwest

I think there is a launch in a few minutes out of Vandenberg.
If you're in the west coast/southwest, look to your west, southwest at 8:57, low on the horizon. Give it a minute or two to reach altitude so you can see it. It should be seen as far away as Las Vegas, Phoenix etc..
If they scrub the launch, scrub the thread.

Is there a posted history of SpaceX launches this year? It seems like Elon is tossing something into orbit or SpaceX running a significant test with Starship, etc., every couple days.

They turned it South after the Channel Islands, that’s why it appeared so high...it was hugging the coast.

The first stage, also called the booster, landed on the drone shop, a floating barge-like ship. Two of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 boosters have, each, flown 16 times.
An excellent resource of all things regarding space, astronomy, etc is behindtheblack.com. Robert Zimmerman is fantastic, and a right-thinking individual.
