While I am no animal rights activist, I never could see the point of torturing an animal to death.

Abusing animals is not any more acceptable than abusing people.

As a teenager back in the 60's, I remember ABC's Wide World of Sports would occasionally show a bullfight from Spain. Being a kid, I never thought much about it.

Then in the 80's, my whole family went to Acapulco for a two week vacation. One day we decided to go to the arena and watch the bullfights. My sister and I lasted only 10 minutes into the first fight before we had to get out of that place and waited outside in shock till the rest of the family came out.

Having seen it in person, bullfights are nothing more than the barbaric, brutal, slow torturous slaughter of an animal. Those events should be banned world wide.
