MacGregor is a poor source of analysis because he has been consistently wrong. If he had been right at some points he would get more respect. MacGregor is a fantastic source of analysis due to his training and experience. He's been right but is constantly attacked as if he is less accurate than CIA operative Denys Davydov because he's destroying Biden's 'narrative' - the Deep State has so much invested in the Ukraine that any who point out the truth, like MacGregor, are targeted for cancellation. Igor Girkin has in contrast often been correct, notably on the matter of Kherson and the state of the Donets militia, etc. His take was often perceptive, in spite of his being as anti Ukraine as its possible to be. Its a case of a bad guy being a useful source. RU is similar to MacGregor. Moreover they are on the wrong side. They are the bad guys. Hear them, but consider the nature of the source and their track record. The whole 'narrative' relies on liars like Denys Davidov to falsely claim that the Ukraine is innocent when it is being used as the hub of extreme levels of evil. Bio warfare labs, bribes, graft, fraud, child trafficking, organ trafficking - so much crime in the Deep State's crime headquarters in the Ukraine, and you're defending the fake narrative that they were innocent people attacked by Russia for no reason. This after Russia went to the UN to request an investigation into the US bio warfare labs in the Ukraine which just happen to be positioned on Russian borders. The Ukraine should have accepted for the request for a UN investigation and shown the world what was there. Ah but they had so much to hide! So they denied the truth and push the narrative of lies. Monetized channels are the entire worlds media. If you reject it all outright on that basis then you might as well live in a cave. What I reject is Ukrainian propaganda threads cranking out around the clock to disseminate video links created fresh around the clock in order to monetize and support the Ukrainian war and propaganda effort. Those on the Ukrainian threads defending Biden's false 'narrative' shriek moral indignation with their claims of 'bias' if anything but Ukrainian propaganda is posted, and offer instead link after monetized link to keep the grift going. The Ukrainian propaganda threads are silent support for the war dressed up as 'discussion'. Don't agree with the war in the Ukraine? Here just watch this video(propaganda) to find out for yourself; we just won't tell you that you're clicking on our monetized Ukrainian propaganda link, and therefore financially supporting the war you don't want to support. That's why these videos are constantly new around the clock - gotta get clicks around the clock to collect money on monetized propaganda around the clock. The hypocrisy of those pushing the pro Ukraine narrative is beyond obvious to those with morals. |
When has he been right?
He failed in re Kiev, the attempts to take Kharkiv, the Izyum offensive, the various attempts to break through and encircle Ukrainian forces east of the Dneiper, the Kharkiv offensive and the retaking of Izyum, Lyman, etc., the loss of Kherson and the west bank bridgehead, etc., ad infinitum.
Credibility comes from being right, having a track record, not for sounding plausible. Thats the whole point of being a pundit.
Davydov is no expert or pundit, and he says so. He’s a news presenter. Hes a very good news presenter, abd he puts most of the US ones to shame, accent and all. You can check if what he says is accurate or otherwise. And, moreover, if he calls something wrong he says so.
As for your list of horribles, everything you are piling on there is misstated, exaggerated, are asserted with no evidence, etc. Anyone so minded can generate such a bill of particulars for any country, the US included. Or, for instance, the Polish government of 1939.
The bribery and money laundering thing is particularly egregious, as we do have all the facts on the Biden affair. The fault is all on the Bidens and those parts of the US government that did their bidding. The Ukrainians in government at the time (not the current government), not particularly angelic, were the victims of US corruption, not the other way around.
And the broader record of Biden corruption across many countries puts the situation of Ukraine in context.
And what is wrong with the Ukrainian propaganda effort?
Its war. Thats what comes from the combatants in a war. Would you have been judging the output of the BBC in 1942 on the same basis, and insisting that Goebbels was right?
Orwells position on propaganda came mainly from having been on the inside at the BBC.
I am amused by the notion that "it's war," but only some "propaganda" is correct while other is to be rejected out of hand. The positioning of the a priori shows that there is precious little "checking" going on in the moment. It seems a matter of pro-Z "confirmation bias" standing against pro-Z "confirmation bias," while the pro-Z types tryn to obscure third and forth views, such as "not my circus" and the like.
What I spent the last few minutes doing was delving into the several methods by which one can discover "from where" a content creator is operating. This is something not done, when "confirmation bias" demands it not be done.
So "from where" does content creation come? In the case of another small and weekly thread quite different than this one, the "creator" self-locates, in that case being Australia.
Denys, mom's "daily thread," originates his "content" in Switzerland, which I have now verified through three different sources. Some have alleged this to be true in previous days. I now can say it is correct as the "hacker" sorts like to look behind the scenes, so to speak.
So "give us our daily thread" prayerful mom posts the latest "news from the battlefield" from the nation which hosts Davos and the WEF, as well as some nice traditional watch makers. Denys Davydov posts from Switzerland. The posting footprint leads there. According to multiple sources.
He's about 1,300 miles distant from the battle lines. Moreover, a simple reckoning of his "daily" output of video suggests he spends some hours creating his content. At fifteen minutes for many videos, the "mom" thread enthusiasts would have to spend some hour and more a day just to watch, and listen by -- here's that word -- clicking the link.
When next someone wishes to challenge whether or not he is posting from Switzerland, I stand ready to detail the links and information. Until then, enjoy.
And as to the non-NATO war between non-NATO Ukraine and non-NATO Russia, no one -- no one -- can predict the outcome. Period. Excepting of course those who can predict the "correct" temperature of the earth a century from now, or identify the next pathogen in a next pandemic, or....
