It seems Elon Musk is not just helping to stop some of the cancel culture going on, but Musk is offering to go after people's employers who harmed, fired, or otherwise could be sued by their employees they harmed who used Twitter.

Elon is putting his money where his mouth is, and I can applaud that.

I’d say huzzah...but I’m still banned on Twitter.

Gina Carano’s fans are rallying for Musk to help her get back at Disney. Hope he does.

Wow!

Completely unexpected and creative business policy by Elon Musk.

If Musk was a Natural Born Citizen, my first instinct would be that he plans to run for President!

The guy is known making rash decisions that later have to be scaled back when reality hits. I suspect that effectively indemnifying all twitter users from problems with their employers due to twitter use will have a fair amount of unintended consequences that will lead to Mush’s promise being scaled back. Years ago when Musk was at Paypal he came up with the bright idea of giving a Visa credit card to every Paypal user who wanted one with no credit check. Musk figured the losses associated with handing a credit card to a few deadbeats would be minimal compared to the costs hiring a credit-check agency to screen everyone. That turned out to be a miscalculation on Musk’s part. The losses were huge, and Musk had to backpedal and start running credit checks like everyone else.

AWESOME move. It means that employers (and schools) have to consider that they may feel a bit of pain, should they decide to be First Amendment Karens.

That’s pretty magnanimous of him.
