Are you an engineer of any kind? (I am, BTW.) Ever worked in manufacturing of any kind?
There's a whole lot of work involved in getting from "knowing how to do something" technical to actually doing it.
Very little of the infrastructure or production capability built for Apollo still exists today. In a number of cases, you wouldn't want to use it even if you had it, because we have much better ways of doing stuff today. (Example: the guidance system for the Saturn V cost half a million dollars in 1969. Your cell phone has more computing power.)
You will no doubt come back with, "Then why aren't we there already?" Easy: a cell phone isn't a guidance system for a moon rocket.
Just like producing spare parts for B-52s and other old timers is pain in the ass.
Some people just don't get it. It's easier to believe in conspiracy nonsense.
“Are you an engineer of any kind? (I am, BTW.) Ever worked in manufacturing of any kind?”
Nope. And you’re incredibly insulting to real engineers by stating that with today’s technology and knowledge that we can’t now do what was apparently EASILY done over 50 years ago.
“There’s a whole lot of work involved in getting from “knowing how to do something” technical to actually doing it.”
Your first argument was that there is not enough money to go back. That was proven wrong, so now you say we don’t have the technology. And that’s the same argument that other moonbats like you use to explain away our inability to “return” to the moon. So where the hell is the technology?? What happened to it, when and by whom? TELL ME. You cant because it never existed!
I know you’re lying and you
know you’re lying. Give it up.
