So, Feinstein is incompetent for private life, but still okay for public office? How long can this be sustained? Can she be forced out and how?

No Constitutional means of forcing her out prior to re-election. Technically she could be reelected if she was in a coma. Remember its California!
Repeal the 17th Amendment!
State legislatures couldn’t do worse!

I think they should cremate her. What? You say she's not dead? are you sure? She sure looks dead. Just sent her to Canada and they'll take care of that little detail, and then we can go ahead with the cremation

By inference, that means that her unelected daughter controls that Senate seat. Sure, that’s Constitutional.

Incumbency and incontinence. Our “young” Republic is not aging well.

Powers of attorney agreements are normal legal vehicles used by many fully competent people for many purposes... but c’mon. DiFi is no longer capable of being left alone to feed and clean herself for 24 hours, much less craft legislation or represent millions of constituents.

Until we see her coming in by stretcher like one of ours, she’s still got a way to go.

None of them craft legislation nor do they read what they are voting on. As long as she can put her thumb up or down, she’s golden.

They all are. There’s a minimum age, there should be a maximum.

There is so much wrong with our politicians. We really do have an imperfect system for the best in the world.
I suppose there really isn’t anything anybody can do. Her staffers are basically taking their orders from Schumer and telling her how to vote.

You assume she isn’t capable of anything but her daughter representing her interests in a private legal matter doesn’t bother me at all. DiFi has enough on her plate. I am more curious why she is dependent on her late husband’s trust to pay for her medical expenses.

She's had it for 5 years already.
