Hahaha! Too true. Also had to carry my totally limp and angry little niece once. Tried to put one of those kid harnesses on her to keep track of her at a big event, and she laid down on the ground like a pissed off cat.

Nope. They knew better than to try that because that kind of behavior had been dealt with at home.
I’ll never forget going out to eat with a mother of three little ones - age 3, 2, and 1. The baby started acting up. All she did was whisper in his ear and he calmed down immediately.
It’s a shame that people don’t know how to discipline children any more.
