It is a Boomer Con failing.
They listen to a candidates speeches and “positions on the issues” .
They don’t seem to realize that those are created by consultants and completely fake.
The thing that irritates me is they fall for the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again for decades, and never learn.
The world will not get better until the Boomers are gone.

Politics is politics. Everything comes from or comes through consultants. If it doesn't, it's still unlikely that politicians will do (or want to do) the things they promise.
