In a thread of 57 comments as of the moment, four have been removed. In almost all other Free Republic threads reviewed in these last weeks, NONE exhibit this behavior. Interesting. So it must be a "feature" of this particular thread, don't you think?

Seen such a nice collection of "removed by moderator" remarks on other threads?

Nope. While it’s a conservative badge of honor to have a post removed by RevMom’s Mod buddy, it’s surprising that they’re allowed to censor people like that on a site like FR.

One member of the consortium was making threats regarding Mods about a week ago, pretty much confirming our suspicions about a Uke-friendly Mod.

Shameful.

There do seem to be more comments at these Russia/Ukraine posts. And more of them seem to be comments from the pro Putin group. However it is not surprising that there would be more aggressive and nasty comments made by the kind of people who would support a leader who has repeatedly invaded other people’s countries, had their children stolen, and moved to cause more poverty and starvation throughout the world.

In case you actually are a pro Putin American citizen, it is important to realize that while this war has caused a degree of inflation here, and added to supply chain problems, people in Europe and elsewhere have much higher inflation rates and fuel costs than we do. We also have good employment rates. After all consider this—everyone is trying to get INTO the US, while everyone is trying to GET OUT of Russia.
