It is discipline that keeps an army afloat. It is impossible for an army to achieve success unless there is discipline. Discipline in the army can be broken for many reasons. In particular, the weak loyalty between commanders and soldiers is one of the most important reasons for this situation. However, some nations are not as close to the art of war as one might think. Therefore, these nations do not have sufficient discipline by nature. This is also the case in the Russian army.

In recent days, a very interesting image related to the Russian army has been shared on social media. This image shows an incident between a Russian commander and a Chuvash soldier serving in the Russian army. And what was this incident? What does this incident have to do with indiscipline in the Russian army? Let’s examine this incident together.

The Pioneer reports. As you know, the Russian Armed Forces are made up of many different nationalities. The biggest reason for this is that the Russian Federation is the heir of the Soviet Union. In the process that emerged with the dissolution of the Soviets, many states became autonomous republics affiliated to the Russian Federation.

One of them is Chuvashia. Many civilians from Chuvashia were also forcibly recruited into the Russian Armed Forces with the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. A large part of these people from Chuvashia were not unrelated to military service. Therefore, the vast majority of these soldiers could not adapt to the combat environment.

Ľudovít Ódor, Slovak Prime Minister, has announced that Uraine has received the first two Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery howitzers, fuknded jointly by Denmark, Norway, and Germany.

“Our duty is to help where and how we can,” stated the Slovak Prime Minister at the arms transfer ceremony in the Slovak city of Dubnica nad Váhom, as reported by Dennik N.

Myroslav Kastran, Ukraine’s ambassador to Slovakia, was also present at the ceremony.

“This project is an example of successful cooperation and the basis for new military-technical cooperation between Slovakia and Ukraine,” he emphasized.

Ódor also stressed that Ukraine’s ability to counter Russian aggression is “in the interest of us all.”

The defense company Konstrukta-Defence will supply Ukraine with an additional 14 howitzers in the coming months. The last one is to be sent next year.

In October 2022, Denmark signed a letter of intent with Slovakia, Norway, and Germany, stating that the countries jointly decided to make a financial contribution to the Slovak production and transfer of the Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery systems to Ukraine.

Overall, the countries agreed to donate about 685 million crowns (roughly 92 million euros). Denmark donated around 230 million crowns (30.9 million euros).

The Zuzana 2 is an 8x8 self-propelled gun based on the previous version of Zuzana: 155mm calibre, but with a shorter barrel.
