Hey Jane.
My wife is still thanking me for the prepping—and no longer complains that the closets are stuffed with non-perishables of every kind.
We saved a fortune because of later inflation as well—I get bonus points for that.
Hilarious footnote—I ordered Cuban cigars from Europe—stocked up (well closer to hoarding levels) during that time-frame.
Now most of the cigars I have are either totally unavailable or are double, triple, quadruple the price or more—and customs which ignored the cigars in that time period is now seizing them like crazy.
If they ever introduce a wealth tax I am doomed.
;-)
Ha! Smart man!
I warned several family members, who are also thankful that they stocked up (well, not on cigars….nice investment, btw).
