I *HATE* the term *influencer*.
Who decided that someone is an *influencer* in the first place?
And it makes it sound like people actually cared about what that person had to say or that they were actually important.
[*influencer*]
From what little I’ve seen, they often do tremendous damage to people who glom on to them like they’re cult leaders.
And then that damage spreads like a cancer to the people surrounding the person “influenced” by a total stranger.
Telling them to throw out their stuff, start arguments with people around them, go on anti-(whatever) crusades, etc.
This became a problem with the lockdowns as people grasped to find some meaning in their life by watching only TikTok and YouTube.
These “influencers” just give me a headache. A pox on all of them.
"influencer"
No one decides who an influencer is other than how many followers/subscribers they have. The more followers ect they have, the more people they influence.
And as far as people who cared what the influencer had to say, you’d be surprised.
Agreed. Influencer in this case is just another anorexic who got her wish. Never famous for anything but killing herself.
One look at her and I was influenced to have a double cheeseburger and a beer.
