I never heard of avocado toast until my daughter got back from her semester abroad in South Africa. She said they ate that frequently with an egg on top. That must’ve been in 2008 or 2009, so 14 or 15 years ago. Been eating that ever since she got back. I love avocado in pretty much any format. I love when Mom used to make shrimp remoulade in avocado halves. That was so tasty.
