If Musk didn’t take the proper precautions and permits, it’s probably right that San Francisco did this. Don’t need anybody to die because it wasn’t attached properly.
I see no problem with inspections. All of the “licensing” and “code” BS is very unnecessary (and used for power and control).
No one will die or could die.

In SanFran, probably cheaper to do it right without permits and pay fines later. Might never get it done otherwise with SF govt stonewalling. I’m sure it exceeds SF building codes, Musk would have demanded it be done that way.
