The last thing on my mind is getting nuked. We moved here in 2020. My kids are in the US.
Russia has been killing NATO folk from all over the world for quite some time now.
Especially telling was the nazis underground at Mariupol. On the radio they had four different languages being spoken down there.

Oh so you are here also now?
Sumy is a town in Ukraine west of Kharkiv.
It was taken early in the Russian invasion, serving as an entry point of armored columns advancing west to the Dneipr and Kiev. This move more or less cut off Ukrainian forces in Chernighiv.
Unfortunately for the Russians their logistics gave out, and they left vast amounts of equipment stranded on country roads. Its a long drive Sumy-Kiev, especially for tanks. Not a lot of units that came through Sumy got to Kiev.
When the Russians withdrew they also abandoned Sumy.
Who do you think is going to tell Russia how they can keep Crimea?
It’s negotiations. You want something, you give something.
The leaked Ukraine war documents had approx counts by NATO country that were in Ukraine.
I’ll find it later. It was on Charlemagne’s Ukraine war leak analysis stream on Youtube.
The way I interpreted it, the UK contingent was in the hundreds.
Yes, I’ve lived and traveled all over the world as well, starting as a Navy brat kid and continuing on from there.
There are several other FReepers with similar experiences.
We’re just not as arrogant and obnoxious about it as you are.
You meant that reply for someone else, I am thinking.
I am everywhere, an international man of mystery!
I am in the US once or twice a year, yes. I am not there now.
“Russia doesn’t shell their own people”
There now are Russian Freedom fighters within Russia sabotaging railroads i.e. setting fires to military factories, military enlistment offices and use of drones.
KGB czar putin has replaced KGB [Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti] with FSB.
Persons continue to be murdered, disappear or are imprisoned.
But I am charmingly arrogant!
Works on all the girls. Well, when I had hair anyway.
That would be Ukrainian propaganda.
Persons continue to be murdered, disappear or are imprisoned.
Sounds like the US to me.
REMEMBERING... CRIMEA
Col. Yuliy Mamchuk, commander of the Ukrainian military garrison at the Belbek airbase, and a colleague with led the regiment to confront troops under Russian command Tuesday.
BELBEK, Ukraine — A tense and dangerous test of wills took place Tuesday on a rainy hilltop at a dilapidated Cold War-era airfield here, as Ukrainian soldiers confronted Russian troops and demanded to be allowed to return to their base.
Just a few hours after the 5 a.m. deadline reportedly issued by Russia’s Black Sea Fleet for Ukrainian troops in Crimea to switch their allegiance from the new government in Kiev to the pro-Russian leadership in Crimea, the first shots of the conflict were fired into the air here by a pro-Russia militiaman.
RUSSIA DENIED IMPOSING ANY SUCH ULTIMATUM.
No one was injured in the continuing impasse, but there were tense moments as the two sides faced off, and Ukrainian troops were forced to choose between their oath to Ukraine and their feelings of affinity with Russia.
Video shows the dramatic moments of a tense standoff between Ukrainian soldiers and Russian forces who took control of an airbase in Crimea.
At the Belbek air base, the Ukrainians chose duty.
At the harbor in nearby Sevastopol, a trio of Ukrainian navy vessels spent the night before the ultimatum deadline trapped at a dock as Russian minesweepers and Russian navy tugboats passed back and forth across their bows, blocking their exit.
On Tuesday morning, the Russian rescue and salvage ship Epron cut close to the docks and blasted its klaxon.
Officers of the Ukraine command ship U510 Slavutych said that during the middle of the night, five Russian navy ships from the Black Sea Fleet harassed them, shining search lights at the vessels. The Ukrainian sailors mounted water hoses and mattresses, saying they would repel boarders. They vowed not to surrender their ship.
In addition to the blockade in Sevastopol harbor, Russian navy ships closed off the narrow Kerch Strait, which separates Ukraine’s Crimea Peninsula and Russia, Pavel Shishurin, deputy head of the Ukraine’s border guards.
At the Belbek air base, as Russian snipers assumed flanking positions and aimed their rifles, a column of Ukrainian soldiers marched forward and tried to return to their jobs at the airfield Monday.
The Ukrainians had arrived unarmed.
The Russians were bristling with weapons.

WRONG AGAIN :)
“You meant that reply for someone else, I am thinking.”
No, it was you. You were claiming Russia didn’t bombard their own, when shown pictures of recent bombardments of Sumy.
I pointed out, also, that Sumy was also an active war zone in Feb-March, when it also suffered Russian bombardments.
TOTALLY AGREE!!!
