I’m not offended; I find your advice to be ill-informed and illogical.
The female in this situation was not the one behaving like a boorish dolt, the man was, so it doesn’t even fit for this scenario since they are not co-workers.
If any member of my team acted the way you suggest, I would think they have a screw loose and are an operational risk.
