I was there a month ago. A lot of closed stores. And the open ones aren’t necessarily ones I would frequent. But ALL the stores were not closed. A whole bunch would have had to close in the last month.
I stopped in SF on an overnight layover from Hawaii last Fall. Not as bad as I expected. There is no way that all stores are closed. I stopped at a CVS and it was no different than anywhere else.

In the video he said two were open, so yes it’s a bit of an exaggeration.
Still, looking at the video as he walks down the street, it’s like third world... and that might be an insult to the third world.
