I stopped in SF on an overnight layover from Hawaii last Fall. Not as bad as I expected. There is no way that all stores are closed. I stopped at a CVS and it was no different than anywhere else.
I may not have been there in a while, but most in that video are CLOSED!

Kind of ironic for such a street name. Maybe it should now be called Sort of Market Street.

In the video he said two were open, so yes it’s a bit of an exaggeration.
Still, looking at the video as he walks down the street, it’s like third world... and that might be an insult to the third world.

He walks past The Warfield Theater which still has "Little Feat July 29" on the marquee. According to the site The Warfield Theatre Concert History, that show was indeed yesterday.
That makes this video fairly recent, sometime between July 20 and yesterday because Jidenna played The Warfield on July 19 and would have been displayed on the marquee.

If the city would only raise taxes even more they could fix the mess caused by Donald Trump....
“Market Street” should be renamed “Out Of Business Street”.
The city used to keep all that contained in the Tenderloin, but it spilled way outside that area.
I can't find the quote but I remember her saying something like that.
